Sound Problems on a Computer

Sometimes Computer stops making sound, then there is a problem occurs that needs to be confirm. Luckily, most sound troubles are comparatively simple to fixate, and easy to obtain sound again by a few mouse click . yet, there may be other cause, like trouble with the sound card, its need a little more work. Identifying your sound problems on your Computer starts with detecting the origin of the trouble.
In this situation
Examine that speaker volume on your PC is not muted. have a look at the task bar. place the icon that looks alike a speaker. Click the mouse on it. You will see where it is muted or un-muted. If mute click it to un-mute your PC sound system. If it is un-mute, make sure that the speaker connection are OK. If all are okay and still you don't hear sound then Open your Device Manager on your PC.and go to "Control Panel." From Control Panel select "System and Maintenance" and also select "Device Manager." ( in Windows 7 operating system"Device Manager" exist in control panel )
Provide confirmation if actuated. Click the muse on the "Sound, video, and game controllers" items in order to enlarge it. Check whether sound card is listed. If not listed, then install a sound card device.
See for a exclamation mark in the the name of your sound card. If you found yellow question mark, see the properties (by clicking sound card then click "Properties."). In the general tab cheque the status of the device in status box. Take Necessary steps to repair your sound card. If your sound card install correctly and there are no error but still have sound problem then
Check correctly so that your speakers are connected into the right jack. If there a USB device, then it should connect into USB port, if only you have a 1/8 inch cable, then there is a specific port for it on your computer at the back end.
